So far, the team have been on the ground and speaking with students at institutions in Birmingham, Leicester and London. The #StartYourJourney campaign has been very well received at all the events so far, with students learning about how a part-time job alongside studying can be a fantastic way to enhance skills and improve employability post-graduation.
April Shakespeare, Regional Recruitment Manager, TCS Recruitment, said: “It’s been a really encouraging start to the fresher’s week events for our team. We’ve had lots of interest in the opportunities we can provide and its been great to see such enthusiasm from the students.
“This is a really busy time of year for us and we place a lot of importance on ensuring that we interact with students and provide them with the best possible opportunity to find part-time work that fits alongside their studies.
“We’ve put in a lot of work to highlight the benefits of working alongside studying, including speaking with a Managing Director about how the skills learnt in part-time jobs are transferrable to full-time work.
“We’ve still got a whole host of events that Team TCS will be attending at Universities across the region, and you can find out exactly when and where via our social media channels.”
